Accessibility at the Velodrom: Information for Guests with Special Needs
The Velodrom is designed to be fully accessible and meets modern standards to ensure a pleasant event experience for all guests. Particular attention has been paid to the needs of individuals with limited mobility.
Wheelchair-Accessible Seating
Designated spaces are available for wheelchair users and their companions. It is essential to indicate this requirement when booking tickets.
Recommendations for Guests with Limited Mobility
Guests with reduced mobility are advised to choose aisle seats in the back rows of each block. An overview of the seating areas can be found in the Velodrom Seating Plan.
Walking aids such as rollators are welcome and can be safely placed in front of the railing of the respective block to ensure clear passageways for other guests.
Access to the Main Entrance
The barrier-free access is via Fritz-Riedel-Straße/ Cotheniusstraße, which is particularly suitable for taxi drop-offs.
The ramp leads to the upper level of the Velodrom/ Swimming Hall complex.
Two elevators, located at the opposite end of the park, provide convenient access to the main entrance level.
