Access to the event venue
Access to the venue is permitted only with the authorization of Velomax Berlin Hallenbetriebs GmbH (Velomax). Velomax issues venue passes for identification purposes. During events, admission tickets issued by the organizer—including participant, press, complimentary, and honorary tickets—are also considered valid identification.
Velomax reserves the right to deny admission in justified individual cases, e.g., in the event of violations of legal regulations—in particular the Youth Protection Act—or of these house rules, in cases of intoxication, or for security reasons.
Access to the backstage area, coat check areas, operational facilities, and other areas not accessible to the public is permitted exclusively to persons who are expressly authorized by appropriate identification cards.

Please follow the instructions of the security staff without exception. If the security staff takes items from visitors into custody, these must be picked up immediately after the event ends. If the items are not picked up, Velomax reserves the right to dispose of them.

Audio and Video Recording
Without the express permission of Velomax, visitors to the venue are generally prohibited from bringing any type of audio or video recording equipment onto the premises and using it within the venue. Filming and photography of the artists and their performances, as well as of the building and its facilities, are not permitted. By entering the venue, visitors automatically consent to having photographs, film, and video recordings taken of them and used for reporting and promotional purposes. This consent also includes the use of images and voices in television recordings, streams, videos, and DVD productions related to the visit to the venue. Section 23(2) of the German Art Copyright Act (Kunst-UrhG) remains unaffected by this provision.
Rules of Conduct
Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire venue, including all adjacent rooms. Velomax reserves the right to impose a general ban on alcohol. Visitors who are under the influence of alcohol may be denied entry to the venue and may also be removed from the premises. The sale of any goods within the venue is not permitted without Velomax’s consent. Violations of the house rules or instructions from security personnel entitle Velomax to issue a one-time or permanent ban from the venue and to remove troublemakers from the premises. We reserve the right to take further legal action. Once the event has ended, visitors are required to leave the venue immediately.
Any admission ticket loses its validity upon leaving the venue—even during the event.
Liability
Velomax bears unlimited liability for injury to life, body, or health.
In cases of impossibility of performance, delay, or breach of material contractual obligations, Velomax is also liable for slight negligence; however, such liability is limited to typical, foreseeable damages. Essential contractual obligations are those whose fulfillment is essential for the proper performance of the contract and on whose compliance the visitor regularly relies and is entitled to rely. Typical foreseeable damages are those that fall within the scope of protection of the respective contractual provision that has been breached. In all other respects, Velomax is not liable for slight negligence. These limitations of liability also apply to Velomax’s officers and agents. This liability provision applies in particular to items stored during the event.
