Are children under 16 allowed to attend events without being accompanied by an adult?
Children and adolescents under the age of 16 are permitted admission only when accompanied by a legal guardian or custodian (i.e., an adult with written authorization from the parents*) and in possession of a valid admission ticket. Legal guardians and custodians must ensure they fulfill their duty of supervision. Children under 6 years of age are generally only permitted to attend events when accompanied by an adult.
Depending on the event, the respective organizer may establish stricter rules that differ from those outlined here. Please refer to the relevant event information on our website or contact the respective organizer.

What items are not allowed at events?
When visiting the Velodrom, please limit the items you bring to the following:
• A bag or backpack no larger than DIN A4 (20 cm x 30 cm)

• Bags or backpacks larger than DIN A4 (20 cm x 30 cm)—There is a fee for storing luggage larger than DIN A4 (5 euros per item; 3 euros per item for home games of the Füchse Berlin and BR Volleys)
• Bulky items of any kind (suitcases, baskets, helmets, strollers, umbrellas, folding chairs, etc.)
• Drinks, food, and
snacks• Electronic devices (laptops, tablets, cameras, audio and video recorders, GoPros, selfie sticks, large power banks, etc.); small digital and analog cameras may be

What payment options are available for the events?
Cashless payment is the only option at all food and beverage stands and the coat check. We accept EC/Girocard, credit cards (Mastercard and Visa), and contactless payments via Apple Pay and Google Pay. Cash payments are not accepted.
It may take up to one week for the deposit to be refunded to your account.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Bringing food and beverages into the arena is generally prohibited. Exceptions to this rule include food and beverages brought in for health reasons, as well as for feeding babies and toddlers. In addition, the sale of any kind of merchandise inside and in front of the hall is prohibited without prior authorization.
What food and beverage options are available for visitors at the Velodrom?
Our catering stands offer a wide selection of fresh, high-quality products—mostly from the region.
The menu features hearty classics like french fries, currywurst, bratwurst, meatballs, and pretzels. In addition, there are various potato options to choose from: Cheese & Onion Fries, Chili Cheese Fries, Mexico Fries, Herb & Garlic Fries, Korean Wedges, and Chili sin Carne Wedges—all vegan or vegetarian.
Nachos are served with two dips (cheese and salsa).
Currywurst and schnitzel are also available in vegan or vegetarian versions.
For a sweet treat, Florida ice cream, popcorn, and crêpes (with sweet or savory fillings) are available.
The beverage selection includes non-alcoholic soft drinks, fresh draft beer, and various specialty coffees.
Deposit cups are accepted for refund only if it can be verified that they were issued by Velomax.
How many wheelchair-accessible seats are there at the Velodrom?
Depending on the event format, up to 88 parking spaces are available for people in wheelchairs.
When do visitors start being admitted?
Doors usually open 1 to 1.5 hours before the event begins. For concerts that typically start at 8:00 p.m., doors open at 6:30 p.m. You can find the exact times in our event calendar. We generally recommend arriving early.
Please allow enough time, for example, for security checks.

Is smoking allowed in the arena?
Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the Velodrom, including all adjacent rooms; this prohibition also applies to e-cigarettes and other forms of smoking.
Smoking is permitted in a designated area in front of the entrance.
Is there a lost and found office for lost items?
If you lost something during an event in the hall, please contact our security and service staff while you’re still there. After the event, you can contact us by email at fundsachen(at)velomax.de.
Notice pursuant to Art. 13 of the GDPR: Your personal data (e.g., name, email address, and details about the lost item) will be processed solely for the purpose of handling lost and found items. The controller is Velomax Berlin Hallenbetriebs GmbH. The data will be deleted once the statutory retention periods have expired. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.
What can I do if there are problems with my ticket?
If you have questions about your ticket or if your ticket is invalid or unavailable, please contact the ticketing company from which you purchased your ticket. Please request a confirmation or, if possible, a replacement ticket—preferably before the event.
If the ticketing company is unable to assist you, you can contact the event organizer directly. You can find the organizer’s contact information and details on the respective event page.
Can bicycle and motorcycle helmets be brought into the arena?
As a general rule, helmets of any kind are considered dangerous items and may not be brought into the arena.
- You can drop off bicycle helmets for free at the bag check outside, to the left of the entrance.
- You can also drop off motorcycle helmets for a fee at the bag check outside, to the left of the entrance.
Is hearing protection provided at events?
Noise levels may rise during events. Therefore, health risks—particularly hearing damage—cannot be completely ruled out. For this reason, we recommend wearing appropriate hearing protection. Hearing protection for adults and children is available on site. For information on how to obtain them, please ask the coat check or security staff.
