SDG 7 – affordable and clean energy is aimed at ensuring that everyone has access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy. This includes substantially increasing the share of renewable energy in the global energy mix and doubling the global rate of improvement in energy efficiency in order to mitigate climate change and to ensure a sustainable energy supply.
