Corporate social responsibility
Meeting our responsibilities towards society is part of our corporate culture and our fundamental values. Our commitment extends to all areas of the company and all staff. Becoming jointly involved in activities that serve the common good unites and motivates us. We support various projects, initiatives and associations in the cultural, social and sports area.

Working groups and charity initiatives
Velomax participates in various sustainability initiatives and working groups. See further down for more respective information.
Taking a stand against right-wing extremism
Diversity over uniformity! The Berlin event industry actively combats right-wing extremism. Our joint campaign, led by the Event Industry Working Group of the Berlin Music Commission, firmly advocates for diversity, a colorful society, and the strengthening of democracy. We stand for artistic excellence and liberal democratic values, staunchly opposing racism, antisemitism, religious intolerance, sexism, and homophobia.
Together, we are sending a strong message in defense of democracy and the preservation of its fundamental principles.
Sustainability working group
Velomax is a member of the Sustainability Working Group of the Berlin Music Commission, a group of representatives from the fields of business, events and education. This working group provides advice and recommendations on sustainability for all music stakeholders in Berlin and is aimed at music industry players who are willing to actively promote the implementation of sustainability practices in their day-to-day business.
educational work
Since 2022, we have been collaborating with the Berliner Hochschule für Technik (BHT), offering guided tours once or twice a year for first to third-semester students studying event technology or event management. Participation by the students is voluntary but always very high. These tours provide insights into our daily work and our sustainability activities.
Since 2023, we have been involved with Berliner Schulpate gGmbH,an organization that introduces primary school students to various professions. In the "Adventure Career" program, students from 4th to 6th grade receive hands-on insights into different careers. We support this by inviting 5th and 6th graders to the Max-Schmeling-Halle, where we show them the diverse professions involved in operating the hall. This is a first step towards career exploration and an investment in future professionals.
participation
Since 2024, we have been collaborating with Berliner Aidshilfe e.V., to enable seriously ill people to attend our events. This partnership with the "Kulturkartenservice" aims to bring joy to those affected and improve their quality of life. We are pleased to contribute to the support of these individuals.
Take A Stand
Velomax supports the European awareness initiative "Take A Stand", which was launched in 2016 by the festival association Yourope. The aim of the initiative is to promote a culture of solidarity and tolerance, particularly at festivals and concerts, and thus to establish this in society as a whole in the long term. "Take A Stand" wants to set accents and promote inclusion and dialogue and against fear and exclusion. However, the "Take A Stand" initiative is not only aimed at music enthusiasts, but at everyone!
Viva con Agua
Velomax supports Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli e.V. at sporting events and concerts. Here, visitors can easily do good by donating their reusable cups instead of returning them themselves. The goals of the international and non-profit association are to improve drinking water supplies, provide access to clean drinking water for all, and raise awareness of the global issue of water among all people.
You can easily recognize the supporters of Viva con Agua: they are standing next to a deposit garbage ton with a Viva con Agua flag.
atmosfair
Velomax supports atmosfair, a climate protection organization with the goal of offsetting greenhouse gases through renewable energies. Velomax compensates for its generated CO₂ emissions via atmosfair. Among other things, this benefits the support of farming families in Nepal.
Music Declares Emergency
Music Declares Emergency is a community of artists, organizations, and music industry actors working to protect our planet and as part of the climate movement to raise awareness about the climate emergency and aim for immediate action. Velomax is one of the declarers.
We believe in the power of music to drive change and create a livable future for us all.
